Business Analyst (m/f)

He/ she analyses an organisation's efficiency by studying its needs, its business model, its workflows, and its technological systems. Making recommendations to the Project Manager in technical development projects that will improve business efficiency.

Job Duties

• Researching possible software solutions to increase work efficiency
• Interpreting data about company policies and workflows
• Supporting project teams during the analysis and planning stages of software development
• Working on other project phases like implementation and testing
• Facilitating a successful release handover
• Complying with regulations and preparing for assessments for requirements like Payment Card Industry (PCI)and Blockchains
• Estimating costs and time requirements of projects
• Evaluating risks and predicting potential problems
• Developing quality assurance practices and assessments
• Establishing deliverables
• Writing reports, instructions, and specifications and creating flowcharts
• Determining risk and return on investment for shareholders
• Acting as a liaison between the business and its Information Technology (IT) department
• Acting as a liaison between the business and its clients
• Using spreadsheets to record data on a project
• Evaluating Key Performance Indicators
• Modifying the business plan
• Facilitating meetings and educational workshops for team members
• Acquiring knowledge of products or services provided by the business
• Making sure projects stay within budget and target spending requirements
• Incorporating user suggestions into projects
• Giving final approval on a finished project

Requirements and Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Can communicate clearly and effectively both in speaking and in writing
• Excels in writing, reading, synthesizing and interpreting data models and creating database designs
• Experience writing and presenting clear and actionable data summary reports
• Exceptional critical thinking skills
• Organized and efficient
• Analytics expert
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills
• Experience using ETL data warehousing software
• Strong computer literacy and expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite, MS SQL and other data analysis programs
• Firm grasp of relevant computer systems

• Works well independently and can equally excel as a collaborator within a team
• Master problem solver
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or related field
• MBA preferred
• Proven aptitude as an analyst and technical aptitude designing new databases
• Candidate should guarantee precision and accuracy in all their work
• Strong Microsoft Suite skills, especially in Excel and MS SQL
• Experience using SAS Enterprise Guide

Languages: Fluent English and/or at least one of the following languages: German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Italian, Russian, or other European local languages.
